well we managed to get the doo out this weekend - but had great difficulty starting it - pumped the throttle a couple of times with shifter in forward, put shifter back in nuetral and she fired up first time - i dont recall it saying this in the manual but its worth bearing in mind that after they have been laid up for a while i guess the gas in the injection system has either gone off or evaporated.
JUST A THOUGHT

I have also noticed cold weather has an effect as well; mine has not failed to start but does take longer after sitting a while or in cold weather.well we managed to get the doo out this weekend - but had great difficulty starting it - pumped the throttle a couple of times with shifter in forward, put shifter back in nuetral and she fired up first time - i dont recall it saying this in the manual but its worth bearing in mind that after they have been laid up for a while i guess the gas in the injection system has either gone off or evaporated.

I believe these boats should be run regularly for consistent effecient operation.
I always start mine in the driveway before towing it off; just to see what its attitude is.
There are not alot of these boats around. People still point & gawk at it on the highway, while launching & while underway.
