It is has been kind of quiet on the forums lately, I know it is winter and things slow down but I just wanted to see how everyone is doo'ing. How many people have put their doo's up for the winter? Who all is still getting use out of doo's (you guys are the lucky ones)?

My Doo is sleeping in the garage, the water is too hard at this time of year.

Still goin at it here in sunny FLA. Gets a little chilly in mornings (50's).

I believe everyone is still here just being quiet for the winter. Where are you guys tiggerman and thumper, how's the winter going?

My doo is tucked away nicely in the garage.

I was thinking about no new posts just this morning, planned on asking if you guys all had your doos winterized. Here in Puerto Rico I've been busy using the doo to go surfing to the outer reefs. Have had a couple of 8 to 12 foot swells with great surfing (Thankgiving day, the next day, last friday and saturday)...I've also been surfing on the doo, going down 8 foot waves with it, it's great to look back and see a big wave behind you, and scary to think what would happen if the engine sudenly turns off!!!

Anyway, the police caught me and said they got calls saying we were in trouble and that was ilegal? Nowere in the law says you can't boat surf!

You know how you would try to sleep just so the next day would come sooner....Well that's what I am trying to doo these days. Cold and boring here...for now. Until I build up the desire to go doo some snowboarding or something.

I am unpatiently waiting for the Jan Boat show here in T.O. My intention is to trade in the Speedster for something bigger...probably the Wake model.

still here just come back from kite surfing vacation in cape verde ( africa ) - doo in garage waiting for a calm day - its a bit cold here at the moment about 40F but the sea is still about 60F - cant wait to get out again

seadoo in british boating press recently regarding the london boat show - they are listed as an 'EXTREME' sports boat manufacturer - how cool is that

i quite like the idea of doo-surfing - that sounds pretty extreme!

Mine is put away, costs me $350 to store it in a heated warehouse for the winter. Its a bit much but its out of the way, hardly any winterizing and comes back like the day I put it away.

I'm here, just trying to deal with the crazy weather we are having in the southern US. 60's one day, 20's the next..... still no DOO..... but I'll survive.....maybe.....
Work gets most of my time these days.

Yeah the weather has been crazy here too. Any idea of how much longer it will be before you will get another doo?

I really have no clue as to when I may get another. Things are lookin up, I may be able to get something for the coming up season.

Well, it was 45 this past Sunday and since I had not winterized my Sportster 4-Tec yet, decided to go out for a ride. With the newly installed molded diamond turf on, I reached a new personal high of 50.5MPH on the GPS. It was a blast, had the lake all to my self!!! (Lake Norman, NC) Riding at such low temperatures is something that I recommend ya’ll try at least once! Happy Holidays!

thats a very nice lake. i used to live in Charlotte but now in Greenville, SC
