With a Challenger 230 SE (2009) that has the Seadoo snap in carpets I was looking to install hydroturf (with the Kit made for the boat) and the question i have is does the hydroturf cover the snaps on the floor? or do the snaps on the floor need to be removed, is this easy? if they are removed can they ever be put back (easily) ?

No idea about the hydroturf covering the snaps.

In my 2008 Challenger SE, the carpet snaps are screwed directly into the fiberglass floor. I say that because I had one screw come loose around the center hatch. It was about 1/2" long with coarse threading. I have to glue/epoxy it back in. The threads are shot. 

If the snaps are taken out, I suggest you be very careful and try not to damage the threads in the fiberglass. If the threads survive, do not over tighten them on re-installation.  

I hope the turf covers them.
