Hi Folks.. I just bought a used Garmin GPS/Fishfinder unit. Its the standard type model with the screen and a base.
Am looking for ideas on where/how to mount it on the dash and hoping you can help me out.
I was sort of planning to use the cup holder as the mounting point. I was going to somehow build a "sleeve" that would fit down in the cup holder made of plexiglass and then attach a flat piece on the top to mount the base.
Would really like some other ideas and maybe even a picture of your to get me on the right track.
