If you figure what you are oding with a Boat like this and what kinda trouble you might be able to get into. Then I think its a steal especially considering what you pay for other types of Rec. vehicles

Just under 300 for a 2000 Speedsta. As for other rec veh- 208/yr for a 2003 32' Jayco camper, $97/yr on my wifes 99 Skidoo Formula, 168/yr on my 2003 Skidoo race sled & 60/yr on my 2001 Yamaha Wolverine 4 wheeler, plus a whole 7/year to add my enclosed trailer I tow the sleds in. All these are fully covered, 300k liability. But I also have a 2 mill umbrella policy.. I think I could lowert the liability with that I need to call. BTW this is with State Farm & they have all my cars & my house....I pay $491.40 a year for my 2000 Speedster.

I have State Farm also. I have noticed that when I moved from Georgia to Michigan, my boat and motorcycle insurance both became much cheaper. I think this may be due to the fact that our boating and motorcycle seasons are only 4 or 5 months, versus the 12 months of usage that I had in Georgia.State Farm.. 297/yrWho do you have insurance through getting it at that price for your 2000 Speedster?
SMorgan, How did you get race insurance on your sled. All the Agents around here said that there is no insurance available for race sleds... I live in Northern Michigan and I build Pro-Stock Drag Sleds. Where are you located?

Here is a picture of one of my Drag Sleds... The new motor is right at 270 HP... It should run 660' or 1/8 mile in 5.0 seconds on the Ice. Speeds in 660' should be right a 130 MPH...Hey Tim Im in SEPA, not far north of Philadelphia... There are a ton of sleds around here so I cant say they dont insure many sled???? I will check and see what I pay, as I too am in Michigan. I have all of the boats, etc insured on the homeowners insurance as I found that it is much cheaper that way.
