Of course I went for the Speedster Wake!

Assuming all variables remain constant and lack of knowledge of contributing factors. The new S200 with 430hp should get another 9 to 10 mph more from its previous 370 hp model. Now that is just with some very basic math, and using the same weight vs. each other. Which oddly enough is what they have showing on both the 370hp model and the new 430hp model...... which I doubt is true.



Anyway............I LOVE THE NEW WAKESTER AND I DON'T CARE WHO KNOWS IT...!!!!

Why is the wake model far heavier than the standard 200? Are they assuming that the ballast is full of water? Or have they made the hull out of lead!

If I remember correctly, there was only a diffence of 200 or so lbs? This would easily come from the Waketower, Speakers, and the other extras this thing has.

my fave is still the sportster - which is good as i have one - dissapointed to see the challenger x go - like the 430 speedster and the wakeboat with perfect pass - but the sporster still does it for me

If u do the math a 430 is the same step up as a 310 to a 370.... 60hp... The only difference is the intercollers. The 310 does about 54 and the 370 does about 60. So the 430 will do about 65-67... I bolted on a cal jet kit which boosts each motor up to 260 (total 520) and my once 370 is now runing 76.8 (best run yet) average was 75.5.

Caljet is a performance shop in Canada that works with BRP... His name is Mark Underwood.... I used to be big into the jet ski thing and had a few race crafts... HE has been working with 1503 motor for years now and has gotten some scarry HP.... I used to work for a jet ski performance shopWhere we built many 2 strokes but never a 4 stroke. We had a customer come in with an RXP that wanted make go faster... The guy spent over 15 grand with us and Mark Underwood basicly ran the project for us and showed us how to build them..... He sold us a Caljet kit which consist of a large intercooler, air intake system, thermostat, BOV, ECU,props and some Head and valve work.... The kit was amazing once installed.. The bike is basically the fastest RXP around.... We have raced all out Riva stage 3 RXP's and blown them away... So once I heard abouth the S200 with the 1503 motors, I couldnt pass up getting it and these kits. Its pretty pricey but worth every penny

I was wondering if you meant Cal Jet performance in TO.

Cool, I will check into this a bit more, but I think the price will be more than I would be willing to handle.

How are these mods holding up?

Have only had them for 2 months but boat has not given any problems or any signs that it will be giving problems... those 1503 motors (properly maintained) are very reliable..... The kits are $3200.00 a motor but worth every penny in my book.

Ya, Cal-jet is not too far from me. This is where I will probably end up purchasing the new Wake model........can't wait.
