I'm in Kev.......So what does everyone think about the new Speedster Wake? This is the boat that I have been waiting for from SeaDoo for a long time, it has been long overdue....

430hp..........woooooooooooooooooooooweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
The only thing I noticed is.......take a look at the Cruising range difference between the S200 and the Wakester. I can't imagine this much of a difference from 200lbs of more weight????? Does this seem right ot you or is it a mistake?
Let's see about a group buy..... same with some Hydro-turf for this baby.

I assume it is collapsable, since the Sea Doo factory tower for the Challenger X is collapsable. I haven't seen the Wake's specs, though! Is the tower collapsable on these things?

Yikes....not sure it would be that much. How much for the current 370hp model? It won't be too much more than that...at most $2 or 3k$The speedster wake is like a dream... wakeboard equipment is nice!! The perfect boat for me! But the price will probably be over 50 000$ (/430hp) CAN

The current S200 lists at 29K for the 155's and 32K with the 185's. I would expect the Wake would be in the upper 30's at least. It will be interesting to see the MSRP's of the new lineup, I would think the Utopia and Islandia would have to go up a bit based on the new power plant(s).Yikes....not sure it would be that much. At first glance I thought the Wake was the same hull as the S200, but it is three feet longer!

How are you getting that it is 3 feet longer, both of the spec sheets say 19'9" overall length and then 23'5" on the trailer. The lengths for both the S200 and the SWake appear to be the exact same to me, am I just missing something? At first glance I thought the Wake was the same hull as the S200, but it is three feet longer!

They rated my challenger SCIC at 9.1gph @cruising and I can run for 5.5 hours @ cruising with 21gallon of fuel = 3.82gph. Differance of 5.28 gph...haha??? I wish its the same thing with the speedster

I messed up and read the on-trailer length when I checked out the sea-doo.net site the first time. It is indeed exactly the same hull as the S200. Sorry about that. How are you getting that it is 3 feet longer, both of the spec sheets say 19'9" overall length and then 23'5" on the trailer. They fixed the specs....now the fuel consumption is the same as the S200 which makes sense.I'm in Kev.......So what does everyone think about the new Speedster Wake? This is the boat that I have been waiting for from SeaDoo for a long time, it has been long overdue....Â

Don't forget......430hp.... this will obviously jack up the price. But I do agree, they are a bit pricey. But then again, everything is gettting more expensive these days including the cost of materials to build these things.I can't see paying an extra 10 thousand for a boat with a tower($1900), a fat sac and pump($400), and Perfect Pass($1500). I have an 04 speedster with the twin 155's.I am in the process of designing and building a wake tower for my boat. The hardest thing I have found is getting the cleves attachments for the tower to the OEM aluminum rails that come on the boat. I would rather not like to weld the tower straight to the boat. When I'm finished the entire tower should cost me less than $400 and be custom to my needs for the boat. I will post pictures when its finished, but don't expect them anytime soon as I see construction taking me awhile since I kinda have to bend the pipe at the mechanical contractors shop for my jobsite so I'm working on there schedule. I have attached a power point file of the drawing. If anyone wants the CAD drawing you can email me for it. It in AutoCAD 2006.
