The 2006 Seadoo Sportboats line up, is now on line...This line up is just AWESOME!!!!!!!!

biggest change are:

Speedster 200 : available with twin 215hp
Speedster Wake : all new boat, with a perfect pass speed control
Islandia : now have twin 155hp
utopia : no more 185, just a 205 with twin 155hp,
Challenger 180 : now have a full windshield and a fuel tank of 28 gallons
Sportster 4tec and SCIC : still the same

No more challenger X and Sportster DI

Well, have to say I like the speedster wake the most but I think I'll stick with my 180 another year. Still no digital information center and I think the new windshield on the '06 180 is far more practical but a big step backward in the kewl looking dept. My 05 windshield serves very little purpose except for makin' it look fast without movingl I'm going to add the lounge table to mine just like the Utopia, nice touch. Overall, I'd say they played it safe and did minor improvements, I'm glad they came out with the twin intercooled...that thing should be a rocket.

well im glad they havent changed too much - cant be dooing the trade in each year - the sportster now has the intake clearance system and six cleats - never needed either of those - shame they didnt add the electronic instrumentation to the dash - but hey maybe next year - speedster 430 , i am surprised they did this so close afetr the 370 - if i had a 370 i would be seriously annoyed - shame about the challenger x - it was the only large seadoo i liked but couldnt afford! no greta advances in the engine side of things on the pwc range, this seems to be wehere they put the new engines - the only change to the rxt is a spec change on the supercharger throttle - the engine spec now reads SOHC with 4 valves per cylinder - i thought the 215 was already sohc with 4 valves per cylinder????

anyway the wake boat with perfect pass is a good addition to the range.

Wow, twin 215's in the Speedster. That's got to rock. I wonder what the top speed will be with 430HP! The SpeedsterWake looks like the Speedster with the speed control and a new color scheme to me (same hull)? So no 185HP engines any more...

Oh, I see the SpeedsterWake is 3' longer than the Speedster! Wow, a 23' Speedster....

The Utopia has twin rotax now, and a much needed deck ski storage. The deck ski storage I'd like, but rather stay with my Mercury!!!

Wow, I think I just found my next doo!!! I had the bug to buy a S200 SC this year but now I am glad I waited.

I guess I will be putting my Speedster 160 officially up for sale sometime soon, so let me know if anyone is interested. Tig you still interested in it?

For 2006, the Speedster 200 will be available with a 310 HP four-stroke 4 TEC engine package or an incredible intercooled 430 HP supercharged 4 TEC engine package. The Speedster 200 with 4-TEC power is the epitome of what a high-performance sport boat should be – eye-catching visual appeal, responsive handling, exhilarating acceleration, and versatility with the addition of an optional wakeboard tower.



NEW Speedster WAKE – Premium Equipment comes Standard

New for 2006 is the 430 HP Speedster WAKE,™ also offered in a 310 HP version it is specifically designed for wakeboarding. The new Sea-Doo Speedster WAKE sport boat is competitively priced and very well equipped to compete in the boating industry’s fastest growing segment. Premium equipment is standard on the 2006 WAKE including; remote controlled 600 lb. (272 kg) ballast system, PerfectPass† Wakeboard Pro Speed Control, wakeboard tower with speakers and board racks, and all the advantages of jet drive.



Sportster™ SCIC – A 15-foot Package with Miles of Fun
The Sea-Doo Sportsterâ„¢ will be available with two power options in 2006, an all-yellow 155 HP or black 215 HP supercharged intercooled Rotax engine. The handling of this compact boat has no parallel, with the ability to change path of direction resembling a slot car. The hull sticks to the water and turns on a dime. As with all Sea-Doo sport boats, an optional wakeboard tower is also available. With all-new racing inspired graphics, the Sportster will turn heads in either configuration.



Challenger* 180 and NEW Challenger 180 CS – Much More for Much Less
The popular intercooled 215 HP supercharged Challenger 180 returns in 2006 with two configuration options. The new Challenger 180 CS features a full wrap-around glass windshield, stereo remote, gauge cluster, and snap-in cockpit carpets. Both Challenger 180 packages are based on an economy-minded 18-foot platform with 20 feet of interior and storage space. The Challenger 180 is the perfect all-around “get out on the water� family recreation sport boat that can handle up to eight passengers. Available in two colors, Steel Blue and Fire Copper, the Challenger 180 and 180 CS feature intercooled 215 HP supercharged 4-TEC four-stroke engine packages. Loaded with premium features, the Challenger 180 and 180 CS will appeal to a wide audience, as it is very competitively priced compared to other sport boats. Some of the standard features include a Clarion‡ stereo system, Closed-Loop Cooling system, massive bow filler cushion and rigid cooler under the rear bench seat. Utopia™ 205 and Utopia 205 SE (Special Edition) – New Power & Upgraded Design
The Utopia 205 and 205 SE are the sport boats with every option, performance and comfort with 60 additional horsepower thanks to the 310 HP 4-TEC engine package. The Sea-Doo Utopia 205 and 205 SE will feature a new rear bench seat configuration and redesigned outer gunwale. Air intakes have been added to feed the new 4-TEC engine package that now provides high-performance power to the luxury amenities of the Utopia models. The Utopia 205 SE features snap-in carpet, a Clarion stereo system, burlwood steering wheel, cockpit cover, tonneau cover, depth finder and a custom trailer with chrome wheels. The SE model is also available with an optional wakeboard tower.
