Need help??
I have a 2000 sportster le and have a strange problem. I run the boat out of water
with a hose connected, the boat runs fine. When I put the boat in water and run it
for about 1 minute a very load alarm starts to sound. Not a beeping, but a constent
alarm.. Can anyone help?????

I think a constant beeping means overheating. If this is the case, then it must be on the motor water intake, as it is not happening when flushing. Water seems to be running fine on the insides of the motor's cooling system (when flushing), so try and find where the motor draws the water (I would guess somewhere in or near the pump below the water line) to see if it is clogged with any debris. On your last outing (when it was running fine), did you get any debris caught on the jet?Need help??
