put this in another area, but wanted a broader potential response.. my new LE DI won't go over 5K - which it gets too at half throttle position, but if throttle is pushed further, it simply doesn't rev any higher..
coincidentally - this is the second LEDI in a week for me.. bought my first one June 10th (2 days before my first baby was born, my daughter Anneka made her way out June 12th and there was a broken lead from the dual T-connector that feeds water to the engine jacket for cooling.
KUDOS to Carson's in Perth, Ontario, Canada - Shawn Carson - replaced the boat - no questions, no fuss. Class Act all the way.
However this one is having this problem, and I just discovered today (maiden voyage) that one of the water hoses, a clear one, seems to have rested on the muffler(?) and melted to it.. not very nice thing to find. I'll be giving poor Shawn a ring in the morning.
SO my question is if anyone knows of a limiter that could be on this thing, and if there is one, maybe they didn't give me a BRAND new unit?
thanks,
Bengt.
Rev limit at 5000?

I bought a Sportster Le Di a year ago and it also had the busted TEE that you experienced. In fact, the dealer told me at that time that he had seen a couple others like that.
I would think that Bombardier would have fixed that problem by now.
Sorry, I can not help you with the second problem you are having.
