The BBQ is stored, and you only have to take it out, install it and eat! The ony thing permanently installed in the boat is a little stand about 2 inches high and less that two inches in diameter where the BBQ stands! With the family it makes a difference. If I'm lucky enough to get away for a full day of surfing with my friends, it also makes a difference!!!
See the BBQ installed on the starboard side of the Utopia (and me having a beer on the transom)!!!

On Sportster 4tec, installed depth sounder (Humminbird HDR600) to lower left of steering wheel. Unfortunately it interfered with the radio space, so I got another radio cover and installed it with the radio just forward of the original radio location. I then built a small, irregular storage box (sheet aluminum & pop rivets) to fit around the depth sounder where the radio was. Just right for sun glasses & other small stuff. The transducer sits in a depression in the hull (which always holds a little water) just forward of the engine. Works perfectly.
I had tried a less expensive depth sounder which did fit without moving the radio, but its transducer was incapable of reliably reading anywhere thru the hull.

I installed a Seadoo Bimini top last night. Pictures can be seen here http://rick-friend.c...hp?name=gallery . This was really an easy job. The instructions have all the detailed measurements.

added the factory bimini.
Waiting for my depth gauge...been waiting for like 4 months. Lowrance is having a hard time releasing its 6600 model, when it is completed it will have water temp and depth in one guage.
Hydroturf, it looks sweet.
Bent ski pylon(guess it is the offroaders way at looking at it "chicks dig body damage") Hopefully gonna have a better stronger pylon machined at a local shop.
Added another 12v cigarette addaptor.
Someday I will upgrade the stereo and it will be sick!
Maybe someday add a tower, sure wish seadoo wasn't crappy about adding the factory tower. My salesman told me I could add the tower after the fact to help sell the boat, what a slimey bastard.
If they come out with a trim tab system I will jump on that band wagon too.

Well to stick up for your dealer, they were told you COULD install a tower to a non-tower model. SeaDoo didn't seem to tell anyone you couldn't until people started to come back and want them.....
