Hi guys,
I had a Mercruiser I/O for many years, and am very familiar with the winterization needs of that. I now have a place on Lake Sinclair in Georgia. I am very interested in the possibility of easy winter usage of a SeaDoo, probably the 180 Challenger, for nice weekends in the winter. Those of you in the south know of the many weekends we get during the fall/winter/spring when a boat ride is just the thing!
I am hoping that with the SeaDoo it would be okay to just pick the boat up out of the water (on a boat lift in the boat house) and walk away. What do you think? Would this be okay? In terms of fuel fouling, protecting the engine, etc., it would be being run about every 2 weeks. I am concerned about freezing. I know it is closed loop through the engine. Is it sufficienly self-draining to do what I am talking about?
