Question: We had great fun using the Jet Ski last season. This season, I went to start it this season and all I get is a click sound when start button is preesed! My battery is new/ in good condition and fully charged. What is wrong with my Jet Ski? Possible answer: If you hear a clicking sound, it may be the starting motor sticking or maybe it is the solenoid is at fault? The easiest way to test the solenoid is with a test-light. Put the test-light in the terminal. Is the starter in your Jet Ski stuck? Take out the starter and put jump leads on it. If it is stuck, tap the side of starter using live jump leads. You should examine all leads and connections that they are in a clean condition and are all tightly attatched. Also examine spark plugs...
