When I bought my used Speedster, I paid almost $100 to transfer the 5 year extended warranty...just try to collect!
In other words, any damage caused by the failure of an uncovered part is also not covered even if it subsequently damages a covered part!

At the end of the day, I figure it gives me some piece of mind for additional coverage for major malfunction in motor ( and in my case TWO MOTORS!)
I have bought ten snowmobiles from BRP over the years and it all comes down to your dealer and their interpretation of WARRANTY CLAIMS on our behalf.
I hope Sea-doo is as great as Ski-doo, no doubt it is!
