After months of resaerch, contacting both Bennett & Lenco, and hours of web search, I was unable to successfully install a hydraulic trim tab on my 2005 Speedster. Fed up with the behavior and porposing of the Speedster 200 when the boat was loaded I reluctantly purchased the installed the Seadoo Trim Tab Kit, Part #295-500-986. Suprising it worked. It is a mechanial trim tab that extends the ride plate by about 3". I adjusted it to the max deflection, 1/4" and took it to the lake. It actually worked. The boat no longer porposes even with 7 passengers. Down side is I lost about 8 mph of top speed!
I plan to begin backing off on the settings to see if I can find a happy median.
The kit cost about $375 and takes about 2 hours to install. Worth is if you want your Speedster ride like a boat should.

Too bad Bombardier can't build a boat correctly in the first place.
My 2005 Speedster 200 is worthless as well, because of the non-stop porpoising.

I too have experienced the seadoo porpous on my speedster 200. I have found a company in Lake Havasu, AZ that is looking into fabricating a hydrolic trim system (bennett). I want to be able to adjust tabs at speed. Will try to keep you posted. I know it won't be cheap, but I don't want to get another boat.
