So I have been looking for a boat and came to find this. I was wondering what you think of the price and how much work or money to re do the seats.

Looks like a fair deal to me if everything is in working order. As far as the seats go, we have a how-to here, http://seadoosportbo...-to-upholstery/, this should guide you through doing this yourself if you wish to take it on.

finka,
The pictures of this boat bring back some memories because my first SeaDoo jet boat was a 1996 Challenger. So it was bascially the same style as the pictures you posted but with a rear facing observers seat. It had a single 110 hp engine, which for that boat was actully not enough power. But the thing that was nice was that was the first model where the had the rear facing observers seatm in the 14 foot boats. It was good, not only for observing someone being towed, but it adds a seat for a 4th passenger. And, behind the observers seat was a small built-in beverage cooler which was really convenient for a samll boat.
Then, I believe, in 1997 or 1998 SeaDoo started putting the observers seat in the dual engine Speedsters. You would have to do some research to confirm that modlee year.
So my only comment would be try searching for a slighly newer model with the observers seat and cooler if possible for about the same price range. It's a nice upgrade.

Looks like a decent project. I think the price is right on for the description. You can order the seat covers in a kit and have the interior looking good for under 500 bucks.
