Sorry for the down beat post but this boat always needs work after I use it
My friend gave me this boat on a bet last year and it looks like he won.
Before you slam me I just want you to know that this boat has cost me over $3,00.00 in 3 months .
All the leaks are fixed and it starts so I guess I should be happy and not post again but this boat still runs like crap and I would like to sell it cheap to someone that could fix it.
it never last

I am sorry to hear about your bad luck with your DOO, but I am sure some of the guys here would be more than happy to help you try to get it running optimally again. I wouldn't go the route of selling it just yet, DOO's are just too much fun! By the way welcome to the site!

I can see some upkeep and maintenance in any boat you buy, even if it is new.
Your boat is 7 years old, same as mine. Things are going to start showing their age, especially if no one ever maintained the thing. You won the boat in a bet, and you've spent $3k on it. I bought mine outright for $5k - I have put a little money in it for parts and it runs really well . Don't get discouraged yet. A little TLC goes a long way with a Doo.. If you have already made up your mind to sell it, give me a price. If not, ask a few questions and we can try to help you get it performing right.

I don't want to hurt anyones feelings but boat are NOT investments. They are toys that you got to take care of or they will let you down.

Please don't kill me for saying this....But I have heard allot of problems with this type of boat....ie...Rotax/1997 model. It seems that the majority of mechanical posts are on this model/engine. Having said that....I think this is one of the early releases of Seadoo's boats??? could be wong... but that would explain the issues.
