OK, I hope this isn't a dumb question, but i'm no longer sure which engine I have in my new (to me) speedster. The previous owner claimed that it was the 210hp carburated motor. Well, I bought it, and now i'm not even sure which motor I have... The air filter cover is round, so I first assumed it was your typical carb motor. Well, I noticed that on the hull, at the starboard side of the transom right above the boarding deck, there is a decal that says Mercury M2 EFI... Then I noticed that the round air filter cover on the engine says EFI... I'm not much of a mechanic (obviously) so I honestly can't tell by looking at it. Is there an easy way to be sure? It seems pretty fast, but I haven't come across another one to compare it to performance-wise.
