hello i want to order molded diamond dark grey turf for my 09 speedster 150. My question is ive seen many posts about the ski locker piece being rong size and having to cut it or have it going the wrong way. O buy a sheet and make it myself. Well if i can make it myself what can hydroturf not do it? or has this problem been fixed? i reallly want to order asap but need to figure out best way to fix issue..anyone with pics of the problem would be great

I believe the problem has been fixed.  Please give Mike Bonin a call at Hydro-Turf and he should be able to clear up any concerns you may have.

yeah kevin i called today and didnt speak to mike but the problem is still a problem. But i know understand the issue. There sheets of molded diamond are not wide enough to make the it on one piece. BUt the rolls are as long needed that why rear is in one piece bc it isnt wide just long. There rolls are like the size or toilet paper but we need paper towl roll sized length  to make it in one piece.(if that makes since at all) They can how every cut it out of the roll long ways but as stated the diamond will be going to wrong direction. so it still will be cut in two pieces untill they get wider rolls im guessng or cut all pieces out of the middle going same direction but alot of material would be wasted

I actually installed my HT today on my 05 Sportster....The ski locker will be in TWO pieces (a longer one and a shorter one)...The ski locker pad will not fit the "rough" area completely (maybe by a 1/4 inch)...but you can butt the two pieces together to make the diamond shape look right...Its really not that bad but if you are OCD about that kind of thing, well...

cmeason do you have any pics of your install that you can share so we can see how it looks?

I got the "molded" diamond on my 2006 Sportster (same as your speedster 150) and as stated came in 2 pieces I butted the ends and it looked good (almost perfect but pattern out 1/16 maybe) and covered the "traction surface" perfectly. I just put "cut" diamond in my Speedster 200 again 2-piece but it lined up perfect, I can't find the seam without picking at it, really! I say buy the kit for sure you won't regret it and don't even think about cutting it yourself from a roll.
