I finally ordered my hydroturf for the swim platform.  I have my niece and nephews coming for a visit this weekend and was worried someone would slip and hurt themselves . . . because I have slipped and fell on my butt back there!  I sent a couple emails to hydro-turf but did not get a response.  I ended up ordering from A & D discount.  They were awesome.  They said that it may take up to three weeks.  I ordered on Monday and it was on my door step Friday!  Not only was the shipping fast but they added the boarding step piece and 3M backing and did not charge me for either!!!  Great customer service.  I got the light gray cut groove and it looks outstanding.  Matches the seats and carpet perfect.

I order mines on June 7 and still haven't got it yet . Still waiting and it sucks to wait, but can not wait to get it.

congrats; yeah the swim platform was one of the main reasions that i got my Hydro-Turf; really makes a difference; and as Kevin said we need pics!

Finally got my Hydro turf. Easy to install but be careful, I did not realized that there were three pieces that looked the same. There are two pieces that sit under the dash board, it has an angle to fit on either the left side and the right side and then there is one piece that is rectangular that is put above the swimming plat form where the the compartment opens up for the engine. I should of check so I kind of screwed up on that. Beside that it was easy to install just match up where the pieces belong. I noticed it can get dirty or stained pretty quickly. Is there any suggestions on what to use to clean the Hydro turf.

It already comes with 3M sticker attached to it and it seems to stick pretty well.

How do these hold up when they get wet. I have the carpet in mine and I have to take out and dry so it doesn't smell. I was curious if these start to mildew or smell if they get wet and don't dry out, since you can't remove them to dry. I definitely want to get the back piece for the swim platform as I have slipped on that.

This stuff holds up tremendously better than carpet.  We too have carpet in ours that has an awful smell if we don't let it dry out completely before storing - this is what I hate most about carpet.  We decided to leave it for the time being since that is what came with the boat but we did put turf on the back platform and step - my wife slipped pretty bad on our old 160 Speedster so this is how we first discovered Hydro-Turf.  It is a far superior product to carpet, it doesn't get slippery, doesn't get hot, and doesn't smell when wet.

Kevin, Thanks very much for the feedback. I think I will order this for the boat this year. At least the back part this year and maybe the boat interior later on.

Hi, about to pull the trigger on the challenger 180 se 2009. Just organizing the turf myself. Is the light grey colour the one to get for the boarding platform to match the standard carpets??

In my opinion I thought the dark grey matched better so this is what we went for on our 08 180 Challenger SE.  Here is a pic of our swim platform here, http://seadoosportbo...75-img-5933jpg/.  If you want to be sure, I would recommend giving Hydro-Turf a call and ask for a couple of samples that way you can compare the light grey to the dark grey to see which one you like better.

Just ordered custom cut diamond last week for my 06 sportster,put black on bottom with grey diamonds.SURE HOPE IT LOOKS AS GOOD AS I THINK IT WILL!
