Understood, part of this due to our server - we have pretty much reached its threshold so we are looking to move to a more powerful server soon.  We are hoping this transition will help improve the experience of the website.

We appreciate the feedback as it helps us make improvements.  If you don't mind what browser and version are you running, we have seen older browsers cause issues on our website because they don't support the new technologies that we are leveraging?

I have reduced the file size without hopefully loosing quality on a lot of the "heavy" images such as the page background, boat models banner rotator, footer images, etc.  Please let me know if you see any improvements.  I have been using this tool to test page load times to see what we can reduce, http://www.uptrends....check-tool.aspx.  I am getting 3.4s (see below) to load the forums now which is a lot better than what I was getting before the optimizations.  We are also still working on a new server so hopefully this will be the biggest improvement of all.
