I just purchased a new sender from Parker Yamaha in AZ- for 116.95 - which is far less than the 143.00 that some of the other places want for my sender.

Fuel gauge sender/sensor is in the big fuel tank , in front of the engine,,the center port holds the approx 10 inch long sensor that stick down in the tank and the top has 4 hose connections (besure to reconnect to correct hose inlet) if you notice the marking for each hose (where the hose comes from and to which inlet they connect--please let me know for the record),,there is also either a 2 prong or 3 prong wiring connector.if you get a new sensor besure parts dept knows what model the boat is , not just a challenger 2000 ;and the year,, but a 5694 or what ever..
It appears my gas gauge on my 2000 Challenger has quit. Could it be the gauge or a sending unit and who know where that might be. Any ideas?
